The Dragverse is proud to be considered for recognition in the public goods and social impact area. We have always been committed to creating a platform that empowers drag creators and fans while contributing to the community. By leveraging Lens and Livepeer, we provide a platform for drag creators to decentralize social media and give power back to the creators, allowing them to own their content and build communities on their terms. We also believe in giving back to the community and have plans to create a charity fund to support LGBTQ+ organizations. We're excited to be a part of a movement that is working towards a more equitable and inclusive world, and we will continue to do our part to make a positive impact. From this hackathon, we provided capabilities for users to collect, mirror, comment, and tip creators for their livestreams and video content, which introduces an exciting aspect for creators to expand their followers and allow them to engage in their creator's content. In addition, we categorized livestreams and video content into categories that viewers and followers would be interested in regarding the drag art community and industry.

Using Lens, we have fostered a thriving community of drag performers, fans, and creators, who can connect in new and exciting ways. By using Lens, we are creating a decentralized social network built on trust and empowerment, allowing drag performers to own their content and connect with their audience meaningfully. Lens is a powerful tool for building community, and we are honored to be recognized for our work in this area. In particular, for this hackathon, we focused on enhancing Lentube with Livepeer by adding a live streaming layer. The outcome of this hackathon is just the beginning since there are different ways we would like to use the Lens protocol to improve the live streaming experience of users.
