FundPG is an initiative to fund public goods. Our flagship product that we are building for this hackathon is a no-loss donation pool that allows individuals to allocate a percentage of their yield to the Gitcoin Matching Pool. We have decided to start with Aave but are hoping to integrate more yield generating strategies using funds won during this hackathon.
We launched a merch collaboration between Gitcoin and Creatures World for ETHDenver where 100% of the proceeds are allocated to the Gitcoin Matching Pool. We are also in talks with crypto games like Treasure and FinalForm to create a "Gitcoin Standard" of allocating a percentage of revenue to public goods. The Vision is to convince more organizations to bake in public goods funding at the protocol level and to create more fun and immersive experiences for individuals to fund public goods.
Our take is 0% on all products and partnerships so we will rely entirely on public goods funding to further funding public goods.
