We are GNR8 a Regenerative Finance platform that aims to position ecosystem services as a vehicle for generating wealth and public goods.
We bridge the gap between environmental sciences, sound economic principles and crypto incentive structures.
We have identified and validated 2 regenerative agricultural practices: Agave Reforestry and Hemp permaculture that have proven positive impact on land remediation.
With these frameworks we have created a membership model that helps raise funds and awareness to projects committed to the task of regenerating our soils.
Stewards that become members are rewarded with perks and social proofs, and can also participate in one of the biggest distributed environmental data collection systems ever devised.
The system was developed with ease of use in mind, it is mobile first and it allows anyone to participate, even if they have no idea nor interest in web 3 or crypto markets.
Once onboarded users can support a project by buying a membership or by responding to the automated oracle that requests data collection with modern smart phone cameras, once validated this data is stored in ES Certificates (ERC-1155 contracts) and they are awarded with tokens.
Once enough time and data has been harnessed and there is proof of soil remediation, the environmental service is consolidated, and every year, it will distribute a plethora of certificates that represent the carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, water, and biodiversity that healthy soils provide.
In the past 10 days we have not only developed cutting edge technology but also have started relationships with institutions like Regeneration International and Colorado’s CSU.
