Sesame is built for emerging markets where access to the internet is uncommon. We leveraged state of the art of web development techniques in order to build a fast, light-weight, and beginner-friendly application. It loads offline, caches everything, and can be used anywhere you have SMS connectivity!

The Sesame Wallet is an evolution of the classic "Burner Wallet" which originated at EthDenver years ago. We took this project much further and created a delightful and quick UX for our wallet. SMS aside, we believe the instant balances and sending flows are innovative for onboarding someone without requiring seed phrase backups or passphrases just to get started. Those features still exist in the menu, but we teach users about these more advanced concepts over time.
